Yes, there is generation theft going on, and it's been going on for many years. I just don't see a way to stop it because the government has already borrowed trillions from the future. If you can retire early then I'd say go for it, and I'll tell my children to do the same because that may be their only way to legally opt out of the generational theft. I don't think you have to worry about who the government can tax, though, because there are plenty of people who will work until they die. As a boomer myself I find myself conflicted with the thought of my children having to pay higher taxes to fund my early retirement. Dont we all, as Americans, have some shared responsibility to rescue our country from the decades of mismanagement? Or do we punch out early and suck what littles left in the coffers dry?
