I think you were way too nice to the recruiter and that conversation lasted too long. But then again, there are plenty of stellar recruiters making good money taking a similar approach as the recruiter who called you. After all, you could be working in a mixed environment developing desktop apps in C and web apps in Java, so who knows maybe she was curious. Nice post.
