		<description>Good post baglady. The preparation portion of your list is the number one reason people typically do poorly in interviews. Lack of preparation. 

I spend a lot of my time talking to people about their preparation. Their resume is one component of the preparation. The other piece is looking at the job description and preparing potential questions and answers as well as connecting the job requirements to your work experience.
