We were on a firm footing finacially and emotionally at that point. One huge life change at a time. Wedding, new houses and kids are all GOOD stressors, but stress nevertheless. I just got married two months ago and I couldn't agree with you more. There's a lot of pressure on newlyweds for so many reasons, and new mortgages are often added to the pile.
